El día 27 de enero hemos creado un acto conjunto para conmemorar el día internacional del recuerrdo de las vícitimas del Holocausto.
Haremos un sencillo acto en el que leeremos un manifiesto común en nuestra lengua vernácula y en inglés.
También encenderemos velas en recuerdo de dichas víctimas y grabaremos un vídeo que compartiremos en el foro y en la carpeta de materiales.
EL MANIFIESTO SERÁ EL SIGUIENTE:
El 27 de enero es el Día Internacional de la Conmemoración en Memoria de las Víctimas del Holocausto gracias a la resolución de 2005 de la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas.
El 27 de enero de 1945 se liberó el campo de exterminio de Auschwitz-Birkenau, el símbolo de la barbarie donde fueron asesinados más de un millón de seres humanos. Pero otros varios millones fueron vilmente exterminados por la maquinaria nazi en otros lugares de infausto recuerdo como Treblinka, Sobibor, Mauthausen, Chelmno, Belzec y tanto otros. Nombres y lugares que forman parte del más oscuro Patrimonio Cultural europeo y mundial.
Tal día como hoy queremos recordar con este sencillo acto a todas y cada una de esas víctimas del Holocausto, judíos en su inmensa mayoría, pero también cristianos, opositores políticos y prisioneros de guerra, gitanos, homosexuales, disminuidos físicos y mentales, etc.
Que jamás se pierda la memoria de sus vidas, que no se borre nunca su nombre de la Historia, que aunque pasen mil años no olvidemos las experiencias vitales de las víctimas, que no son sólo un número o una cantidad. Son personas reales, con nombre y apellidos, con familias, sentimientos, sueños e ilusiones por cumplir que fueron truncados por la ignominia del régimen totalitario nazi.
Y lo queremos recordar para que nunca se vuelva a repetir.
Desde el Colegio Sagrada Familia Patronato de la Juventud Obrera de Valencia, los alumnos y alumnas de Historia del Mundo Contemporáneo de 1º de Bachillerato queremos aportar nuestro granito de arena a la preservación de su memoria con este sencillo acto que incorporamos a un proyecto educativo europeo etwinning que estamos realizando durante el presente curso escolar junto a centros educativos de Italia, Andorra, España y Rumanía, que lleva por título “Erinnern Macht Frei -la memoria os hará libres-”
Con esta iniciativa didáctica pretendemos que nuestros alumnos conozcan el pasado para no caer en los mismos errores. Queremos educarlos en la tolerancia y en la diversidad, en la concepción de que todos somos humanos e iguales, que debemos tratarnos como hermanos y caminar juntos, huyendo de cualquier forma de totalitarismos e ideas radicales que nos podrían conducir de nuevo a la humillante experiencia que fue para el género humano el Holocausto.
Prendamos pues nuestras velas. Que la llama que hoy encendemos represente a esas miles de víctimas asesinadas. Recordémoslas y seamos conscientes de que algo tan terrible jamás debería volver a suceder. Que esa llama que les representa permanezca encendida para siempre en nuestras almas, en nuestro corazones y en nuestra memoria.

January 27 is the International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust thanks to the 2005 resolution of the General Assembly of the United Nations.
On January 27 1945 the extermination camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau was liberated, the symbol of barbarism where more than a million human beings were killed. But several other millions were vilely exterminated by the Nazi machinery in other places of unfortunate memory such as Treblinka, Sobibor, Mauthausen, Chelmno, Belzec and so many others. Names and places that are part of the darkest European cultural heritage.
On this day with this simple act we want to remember each and every one of those victims of the Holocaust, Jews in their vast majority, but also Christians, political opponents and prisoners of war, gypsies, homosexuals, physically and mentally handicapped.
May the memory of their lives never be lost, may the name of history never be erased, even if a thousand years pass, let us not forget the life experiences of the victims, which are not just a number or a quantity. They are real people, with name and surnames, with families, feelings, dreams and illusions to fulfill that were truncated by the ignominy of the Nazi totalitarian regime.
And we want to remember it so that it’s never repeated.
From the School Sagrada Familia Patronato de la Juventud Obrera of Valencia, the students of History of the Contemporary World of 1st Bachillerato want to contribute to the preservation of their memory with this simple act that we incorporate into a European educational etwinning project that we are doing during the current school year along with educational other schools in Italy, Andorra, Spain and Romania, under the name of "Erinnern Macht Frei - memory will set you free-"
With this didactic initiative we want our students to know the past so as not to fall into the same mistakes. We want to educate them in tolerance and diversity, in the conception that we are all human and equal, that we should treat ourselves as brothers and sisters and walk together, fleeing from any form of totalitarianism and radical ideas that could lead us back to the humiliating experience which the Holocaust meant for the human race .
Let us light our candles. May the flame that we light today represent those thousands of murdered victims. Let us remember them and be aware that something so terrible should never happen again. May that flame that represents them remain lit forever in our souls, in our hearts and in our memory.
