ACTIVITIES PROGRAMME
Tuesday 26th March Arrival Day
16.30 Arrival at School by mini bus, accommodation at host families (Italian group)
21.30 Arrival at school, accommodation at host families (Spanish group)
Wednesday 27th March
7:30-9:00 Spanish and Italian students attend lessons
9:00- 11:00 Teachers arrive at school. Welcoming at school, Presentations of schools and surveys about migration. Organization of the groups and information about activities.
11:00 -16:30 Educational trip to Latsi village, (lunch optional)
16:30 Bus leaves for Pafos.
17:15 Arrival in Pafos. Free afternoon
Thursday 28th March
7:30-9:00 Spanish and Italian students attend lessons. (Cypriot students attend
lessons until school finishes)
9:00 Teachers arrive at school.
10:00 Working meeting at the school’s theatre for creating a shared migration story.
11:30 Visit by bus to Ayios Neofytos Monastery, Educational
tour to kato Pafos, mosaics, castle,…. (Lunch optional)
13:15 Return to School, students at host families
16:00 Meeting point at school. All teachers and students travel by bus to “Petra tu
Romiu” and then transfered to “Eleouthkia Park” where traditional games are
organized. Visit to traditional exhibition rooms with clothes and tools.
19:00 Farewell traditional dinner for all teachers and students at “Eleouthkia Park”
22:00 Groups return to school
Friday 29th March
7:30-9:00 Students attend lessons
9:00 Teachers arrival at school. A game of togetherness. The students work in mixed groups to create migration stories.
10:00 All teachers and students attend a traditional national celebration at school.
11:00 -13:15 Tour in the town centre.
13:35 Students lunch with host families (free afternoon for students)
19:00 Teachers’ meeting (discussion for the project while tasting light traditional food)
Saturday 30th March Departure Day
03:30 am Meeting at School, bus transfers Spanish group to Pafos airport.
(Free morning for Italian group)
12:00 pm Meeting at School, bus transfers Italian group to Larnaca airport
(There might be slight changes in the above activities)
