The school is non-profit public primary and secondary school for 600 students between 6-15 years. The school has a traditional learning system, also an alternative system of education “Step by Step” for primary level, and intensive English classes for secondary grade. The social context is middle class families interested in providing best education possible for their children and looking for creative and modern approaches in education. The school is considered one of the best in the city as a result of: well prepared teachers who constantly invest in professional and personal development, school implication in local and international projects and the modern facilities offered (digital whiteboards, educational robotics sets, ICT lab). The aim of the school is to help all students to develop their talents and abilities in order to reach maximal potential, in a friendly and creative environment. In the school are working around 50 teachers. Our students are involved in many extracurricular activities. They are participating each year in local and national competitions, having very good results. In 2016, according to the official data of Ministry of Education, our school ranked 24-th from 299 schools from Bucharest. Our school is actively interested in positive communication and how to offer the best educational environment for all our students. This is why we are involving in activities and projects in STEAM area, ICT being also interesting in fight gender stereotypes, bulling and discrimination. Among the activities that we did in the past are: Science for girls, drama plays, teacher’s workshops or expert invitations, as psychologists or psychotherapists. Ms. Magda Cojocea - primary teacher, counsellor for personal development and trainer for teachers. Her experience in transactional analysis and educational communication will be appreciated for designing the teacher and student workshops. In school she is involved in STEAM and art projects related and how to connect technology with other topics as art, Romanian language, math or English. She is also responsible with PR school activities . Mrs. Irina Petcu- Erasmus coordinator for 3 projects and also an experienced sport teacher, Irina has a lot of experience in organization sports competitions, some of them targeting social inclusion and gender equity; Irina is working also as a trainer in a NGO organization in youth field and is responsible for social media account of school. Ms. Ana Gheorghe - experienced primary teacher, 11 years in the school, graduate Faculty of Human Sciences, certificated also to teach step-by –step alternative education and a Mind lab trainer. Ms. Cornelia Ghita - school director for the last 14 years, experienced math teacher, 30 years of experience and trainer, with excellent results in local and national math competitions. As a school director, Ms. Cornelia coordinated projects and partnerships regarding art, ecology, communication, IT, media, architecture etc
