    1st EPAL Relase

    1st EPAL of Evosmos is participating in the national IKY program: ERASMUS+: 2018-1-ES01-KA229-050022_2 and title:

    «Carpe Librum: The School Library and Communication Skills Through the Study of Literary and Cultural Relations Between Greece and Spain»

    Welcomed a group of 10 students and two accompanying teachers - as part of the 3rd motivation - from the Clara Campoamor Rodriguez IES school in Zaragoza, Spain.

    Partner schools of the program are: 1st EPAL. Evosmos Greece - 2nd Gel Evosmos Greece - Clara Campoamor Rodriguez IES (formerly "Parque Goya") Zaragoza, Spain.

    During their stay, the students made a journey through the history and movements of the populations regarding the two countries.

    Initially, they discussed the life and work of painter Dominique Theotokopoulos, El Greco. They composed his paintings, they studied based on his work "The Annunciation of the Virgin", they attended a film tribute.

    They also dealt with the Sephardic Jews of Thessaloniki in the context of history and culture. They visited and toured the Jewish Museum. They attended a presentation of Sephardic women's clothing.

    They visited and toured the archaeological museum of Pella, capital of ancient Macedonia. They visited the Baths of Aridea, located at the foot of Mount Voras, toured the waterfalls and the thermal waters. They visited Edessa, a city with a glorious history, industrial past and famous waterfalls.

    They carried out literary activities in the form of Alkis Zey's book "The Achilles' Engagement". Timeline of historical events, photographic material, short story writing competition on migration - population movement.

    They toured the city of Thessaloniki and its monuments.

    The 3rd motivation ended with the best impressions and new ideas to be implemented.
