16th INTERNATIONAL BOOK EXHIBITION OF THESSALONIKI
According to the Erasmus + KA2 program "Carpe Librum: The school library ..." with code 2018-1-ES01-CA229-050022_2, the students of the 1st EPAL of Evosmos visited the 16th International Book exhibition of Thessaloniki, accompanied by the teachers Mrs. Misalidou D. and Mrs. Fotiadou A., members of the pedagogical group.
More specifically, in the context of the tribute to the Hispanic countries, the students watched the storytelling and dramatization of fairy tales from the Spanish oral tradition. A magic mirror from Valencia will find the king's bride. A sword from Toledo will bring the respect. And a ring from Andalusia will win the love.
Finally, in the "Don Quixote" room, students and teachers had the opportunity to admire M. Thervantes' sketches and to attend a speech about Hispanic literature and its impact on the literature of the world ...
Thessaloniki State Orchestra - Ceremony Hall Aristotle Univercity of Thessaloniki
Students of the 1st EPAL EVOSMOU (including etwinning students) attended the State Orchestra of the City in the ceremony hall of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in a concert with melodies of European countries. Extracts of great literary works were also read. One of them was the “Bloody marriage” of Frederick Garcia Lorca.
2nd GEL Evosmou has awarded with the 1st prize in the category "Short fiction movie" in the education project " Cyprus -Greece- Homogeneity" with the adaptation of Helen of Troy myth in Greek poetry.
In the contest, that is held every year among greekphone schools of Greece, Cyprus and worlswide, took part more than 300 schools, with motre than 2000 sdutents creations.
