  • OUR SCHOOL

    IES Parque Goya

    IES Parque goya is situated in the northen part of Zaragoza and established in 2009. It has 734 students and 76 teachers. It includes Compulsury Seconadary (age group 12-16) and Secondary Education (age group 16-18) levels. The school's motivation to join this project is the desire to strenghten the role of school library, to adapt it to the needs of technological society, to encourage readind inside and outside classroom, to boost the literacy and communication skills and to awaken the interest or European culture.

    2nd GEL Evosmou

    2nd General Lyceum Evosmou is situated in the west part of Thessaloniki, in the Municipality of Kordelio-Evosmos.It is an urban area and the second biggest municipality in Thessaloniki;a Perfecture. It was established in 1984 and provides general upper Secondary Education to 400 students between 15-18 years old and it employs 33 teachers.

    The school's motivation to join this project is to continue to stimulate students' interest for the school library, something that began a few years ago with eTwinning projects, which were very popular among students. It also hopes that the role of the school library wiil be strenghtened and meet the needs of the 21st century.

         

     

                       

     

    1st EPAL Evosmou

    1st EPAL Evosmou is a Vocational School situated in the Municipality of Kordelio-Evosmos, at the west part of Thessaloniki. It was established in 1998 and it has 394 students and 66 teachers. It provides special courses to its students according their sector (Engeneering/ Agriculture, Food and Nutrition/ Applied Arts and Design) aling with general courses on Greek language and maths.

    The school's motivation to join this project is to enforce the literacy and communicative skills of its students and in the same time to encourge their reading habits.
