These are some of the questions we want to deal with:

- How can we as informed critical citizens deal with scientific data and separate the pseudo from the real, the reliable from the bogus, the innocuous from the downright dangerous?

- How can we raise an awareness about the reliability of statistics and how they can be misused and skewed to ‘prove’ a point of view?

- How can we raise an awareness about the prevalence of pseudo-scientific and statistical data being uncritically accepted by the media and the public and used to enforce political agendas detrimental to peace and human rights?
