eTwinning supports Safer Internet Day on 5th February 2019 (SID) and every year encourages teachers to join the campaign.
Moreover, Diana Rossato recommends partners to join the group Bringing eSafety into eTwinning projects, which is specifically dedicated to keep pupils eSafe while using digital media in education.

Partners agree on the different use of photos for students' profiles.
According to parents' different permissions some students will use avatars, instead of the students' personal photos because of privacy right and to avoid students' fake identities.
Some pages of the project will be made public for dissemination aims, others will be kept private only for etwinning partners if there are sensitive data.
