Chronicle - Slovakia

In chronicles, we've learned some life information during World War II in our surrounding. We learned about the passage of the German troops through our territory, and about the fact that Partizani, who were eating food from the villagers in our surrounding, stayed there.. Because of this, Prochot was burnt during the war. People were missing many food during the war and were oppressed.

V kronikách sme sa dozvedeli niekoľko informácii o živote počas 2. svetovej vojny v našom okolí. Dozvedeli sme sa o prechode Nemeckých vojsk cez naše územie a o tom že sa v našom okolí zdržiavali Partizáni, ktorým ľudia z dedín nosili jedlo. Kvôli tomu bola počas vojny vypálená obec Prochot. Ľuďom počas vojny chýbalo veľa potravín a boli utláčaní.

Радянська Армія покинула місто 19 жовтня 1941 рокую але місто стало вільним 11 лютого 1943 року, завдяки силам південно-західного фронту під час Ворошиловградського наступу. Потім Червона армія мала піти знову після атак фашистів. Під час перебування їх у місті багато людей було вбито за підозрою у пособництві партизанам. Але 8 вересня 1943 року місто знову стало вільним і це був початок свободи міста та початок української свободи. Солдати Кантемирівської дивізії звільнили місто від фашистів. Танк «Т-34» - один з головних пам’ятників нашого Покровська. Цим люди намагалися подякувати своїм визволителям. На честь тієї успішної битви у Москві був салют.

The Soviet Army left the town on October, 19, 1941. It became free on February 11, 1943 by the forces of South-Western front during Voroshylovgradskaia offensive. Than the Red Army had to leave the town again because of fascists attacked the town. During the siege and fascist invasion the life in the town was hard. A lot of people were killed because they were under the suspicion  of being partisan agents. But then in on September, 8, 1943 it was free again and that was the beginning of town liberation and the start of Ukrainian freedom. The soldiers of tank Kantemirov division won that battle and defended the town and its citizens. The tank “T-34” is the main monuments of our town. By means of it the people wanted to say “Thank you” to those who brought them liberty. In honour of that successful battle there was a great salute in Moscow.

The book of memory:Donetsk region

There 24 regions in Ukraine and every of them has its own "Book of Memory" in several volumes. Pokrovsk is in Donetsk region, so we may find a great number of memories. These books contain information about the lives and biography of those who defended our land from fascist soldiers. That information was wrotten by relatives of those people. 

Україна складається з 24 регіонів і кожен з них має свою "Книгу пам'яті" в декількох томах. Покровськ знаходиться у Донецькій областію Отже ми можемо знайти спогади. Ці книжки містять інформацію про життя та біографії тих людей, які захищали нашу землю від фашистських солдатів. Вся інформація в книжкаї подана родичами захисників.
