On 4th May we visited REC Group in Stare mesto u Uherskeho hradiste. REC stands for recycling-ecological-centre. Here we were shown many ways of how various types of waste can be collected, sorted and recycled. The main attraction is the steel zoo, which is the largest steel zoo in Central Europe. All the animals are created from waste.

The beacon in the last picture is the symbol of the recycling company. It is supposed to be the "beacon of hope" that recycling should bring the planet.
