SRL Toolkit

This is a repository of instruments and models for the assessment of primary and lower secondary school students’ Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) competences. An accompanying scientific report reflects upon the state of the art and good practice in this field. This toolkit provides

• A review of the latest scientific evidence concerning skills assessment and the role of assessment in enhancing teachers’ instructional practices in general, and  teachers’ SRL support in specific. It also lists and discusses existing research instruments assessing primary and lower secondary school students’ SRL skills.
• Transformation of the scientific research models into practical teacher instruments that can be used in real classroom practice. The SRL assessment instruments are presented in a user-friendly repository/toolbox accompanied by clear instructions on how to use these instruments.
