Taking off Greece

  • And the story goes like this . . .

     

    Our story, starts like this . . .

                A beautiful and sunny day a group of pupils met at their school yard. They were pupils of Grade One, a Primary School in Greece, and were ready to start their journey to the infinite Space!

     

     

          Their spaceship was ready, waiting for them in the middle of the school yard!

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    All things, suitcases and materials were on the space ship and when the time came, they started getting on it themselves too!

    Suddently, one pupil, Ireni, shouted: "Oh no! Mrs Ioanna, I forgot my lunch box next to the school's staircase! What am I going to eat all these days?" and she started crying.

    Immediately, teacher got off the ship running to get the lunch box, before the take off. But, she forgot to remind her pupils . . . that they must stay on their seats, quietly.

    Everyone was happy and they started dancing. One of them pushed by accident the BIG RED button and . . . the counting started . . .

    10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0 !

    Oh no! Teacher is not on board! She is still walking to bring the lunch box

    and the space ship is . . . taking off!

    The journey has started!!

    Pupils are travelling, but without teacher!

    After the first shock, pupils started looking the planets of our solar system and they were amazed by the icons passing infront of their eyes. After a few days of travelling they finally spotted a planet! The colour? How can that be? A yellow blue planet?

    They decided to land on it and try to communicate with their teacher on Earth.

    Once they landed, they saw two more spaceships! Who could that be? They had to get off the spaceship and speak to the other "creatures".

    There was a big lake in front of them and they had to find their way on constructing a small boat to pass it. (Look at the fotos of our experiment.)

    But, before getting off the space ship they had to make sure that it was safe! Firstly, they had to explore the planet's air and weather.
