WORKING PLAN:
FIRST STEP: LET'S ASK STUDENTS DRAW THE FIRST SCENE OF THE STORY WHEN A GROUP OF PUPILS LEAVES FOR THE SPACE (UPLOAD IN SPECIFIC FOLDER)
SECOND STEP: ITALY WRITES THE FIRST PART OF THE STORY AND RECORD A VIDEO WITH PUPILS READING/TELLING IT (ITALY UPLOADS THE PART, OTHER COUNTRIES WATCH THE VIDEO. SPAIN CONTINUES THE STORY, THEN AFTER HAVING UPLOAD IT FRANCE CONTINUES AND THEN GREECE, THEN POLAND). DURING THE STORY SCIENTIFIC EXPERIMENTS HAVE TO BE DONE. ALL THE COUNTRIES HAVE TO PROPOSE AT LEAST ONE EXPERIMENT INSIDE THEIR OWN PARTS OF THE STORY. ALL THE COUNTRIES SHOULD HAVE A TRY WITH THE OTHER COUNTRIES EXPERIMENTS.
AS IN THE STORY WE HAVE NOT DECIDED WHY TEACHERS DON'T GO WITH STUDENTS TO THE SPACE BUT CONTROL THEM FROM THE EARTH, WE CAN BRAINSTORM CAUSES/REASONS FOR IT AND MAKE A MAP WITH THEM THEN UPLOAD ONE MAP FOR COUNTRY
1 - Class presentation (picture of the class).
2 - Introduce the story to the classes.
3 - Brainstorm: Why did the teachers get lost?
4 - Design uniforms and all materials needed to travel in the space
5 - Design rockets (recycled handcraft, drawing...).
6 - Taking off (drawings).
7 - Travel to eTwinning planet: we meet creatures- design and describe in English (review body parts and structures It's...., It can...., It has got....).
8 - Landing on the planet.
9 - Start exploring:experiments. This is the second cooperative part where each country uploads their own experiments and check the partners' ones.
10 - The end: Can we live on eTwinning planet? Why?
11- Presenting the plot to parents and asking them to continue the story till the end (each country an ending)
12- Parents endings (laboratories with parents: experiments and cooperative work to play with the story and to finish the story plot)
13 - Evaluation: On line questionaire and recorded opinions of kids.
Deadlines:
0 - 1 - 2 - 3: end of November
5 - 6: 15 of December
7 - 8 - 9: end of January (one experiment per country at least)
February - March: let's have a try with the other countries experiments...
During the months countries continue the story.(it's necessary that we frequently check the Twinspace in order to have a look at the changements made by each country).
April - May: we can add, change, do videoconferences,....the more we have the better it is.
May-June: laboratories with parents
June: preparing outcomes (story sack, experiments ebook, students part of the story ebook, docs with parents endings)
