Chapter 4: Make some drinking water

  • In France they traveled a few days when one of them realised that they were lost!!!!

    Pupils thought and they remembered that they studied the solar system at school with their french teacher.

    They decided to built a map of solar system with piece of cardboard, paper and plaster bandage (you can discover it in part taking off France).

    They also worked on the lenght of the days and why sometime it was a day and sometime it was night.

    At the end of this work they undestood that they were not lost they were in a belt of asteroids.

    They continued to cross the solar system to discover a new galaxy.

    After travelled a long time, they met a spatial engine. First they were very frightened becaue they didn't know who lived in this engine. They imagined a lot of very scaried stories but finally it was a very nice strange "people" who lived in a very small planet.

    These new creatures invited french pupils on their planet. They explained that on this planet the weather was always very nice!!!! The sun (in fact their star but not the sun) shinning all the time and there never were clouds!!!!

    French pupils were very interesting and they decided to study the differents weathers and the cause of each of them (you can see our work about that on the part taking off france)

    These creatures explained to pupils how was their galaxy and they gave them a new map. French pupils were very  polite and said a lot of thank to their new friends but they had to leave them because the travel wasn't finished!!

    French pupils wanted to follow this map but they coundn't understand all the signification because their new friends didn't used the same language!! and this map was really strange...

    French pupils were another time lost!!! And they landed on a strange planet which was blue and yellow.

    Near their engine, there was a lake and they had to built a "boat" to across it. ( see our construction on a part taking off france).

    This lake was very dirty, and french pupils wondered how they could make a drinking water with it.

    Thay started to make some experiments like (settling, filtration, distillation...) they knew how to do because they made them in class with thier teacher.
