Technochemistry JA 

Our company has been called “Technochemistry “ because it combines two third classes’ technical skills  of the institute ITTS A.Volta of Perugia, one of the Chemistry course and the other one of the ICT course. The project comes from the idea of reusing and recycling computer waste to give it new life .
The ICT sector is growing and the electronic devices are replaced from new ones,  all that produces pollution and it, in the long way, can be unmanageable.

Besides, not all electronic waste is disposed of correctly, and it sometimes ends up damaging the environment and feeding illegal traffic and dangerous work activities, especially in countries that are developing.
The “Thecnochemistry JA” is born from this awareness, it works hard in the research of a sustainable solution to disposal of electronic waste providing a useful service and also contributing to greater awareness.

The company takes care of the precious metal recovery that copper silver and gold into the outdated computers.
We started from school computers that was  abandonated, disassembling the components witch present metal plating. After some laboratory tests for identify the necessary chemical reagens for the separation, we started the operating fase in the respect of the safety rules.

Once we’ve disassembled computers we thought to recover and give a new life to to waste materials inside computers. With a bit of creativity and imagination, we’ve created thinket and object of various kind.

Our buisness it’s easy and efficient because old computers are relatively easy to find. The metals.
The metals obteined will engage a second cycle of life with the reuse in new productions.
