On the 5th of June , World enviromment Day, Students and their families at C.E.I.P Manuel Vidal Portela have started a new challenge as a gift to our planet .

Families will help us to reproduce a masterpiece by Mandy Barker, who  is an international award-winning photographer whose work involving marine plastic debris has received global recognition. Working with scientists she aims
to raise awareness about plastic pollution in the world's oceans whilst highlighting
the harmful affect on marine life and ultimately ourselves.

Our school entrance corridor will be covered with a big mural where this masterpiece will be exhibited.
