About Dacia Technological High School in Pitesti

  • The "Dacia" Technological High School was established in 1967, being a school unit offering courses for secondary, vocational and post-secondary education levels. The school population is made up of 741 students and 57 teachers. In recent years an important objective was the implementation by our organization of educational projects at European level. It has pursued the promotion of European values at the level of school unity, as well as improving the quality of education provided, ensuring the European dimension in the field of education and training. In our high school there are pupils living in the care of grandparents or other relatives, parents with work abroad, living in single-parent families, social benefits, supplementary allowances, or pupils with special educational needs. From the analysis of the results of the students obtained at the Bacalaureat exam, there was a lack of interest in the study of disciplines in the area of Mathematics and Sciences. The motivation for writing this project is also based on the Europe 2020 Strategy, which seeks to stimulate a new, smart, sustainable and inclusive growth through the use of the digital economy. The main person in charge of the project management will be Mrs. Ioniţa iuliana, professor of computer science. If it leaves this position in the future, the dancing place can be successfully taken over by any of the team members who have the necessary skills. Project team members have the expertise needed to implement the US-ICT project. Ladies and gentlemen: engineer Mihai Cristina, high school director, engineer Tanase Daniela, deputy director of the high school, Dumitrache Cristina, professor of entrepreneurial education, project and school curriculum coordinator, Stanciu Valentina, coordinator of European projects at the level of the school unit and chief accountant Serban Liliana has completed courses in

the partnership. The multidisciplinary approach, the sharing and confrontation of the ideas, practices and pedagogical methods of the teachers involved in the project will lead to the development of the organization's capacity to operate at a transnational level.
