The 2nd transnational learning activity meeting and of the Erasmus+ KA2 project “Life and Job Skills for Successful Europeans” was held at Agrupamento de Escolas Pinheiro e Rosa, in Faro, Portugal, between the 22nd and 26th of April 2018.
The first official day, 22/4/2018, of the 2nd transnational learning activity meeting took place at the beautiful city of Faro!
We had a guided tour around the city of Faro from two Portuguese students of tourism, visited the old quarters, the cathedral and the shopping area.
We travelled by city bus to the beach and had lunch at the beach. The students had the experience of canoeing in Ria Formosa! Lovely first day!!
The 2nd day of the meeting at Faro took place at the school with a warm welcome from the headmaster, coffee break with food from the different participants, presentations from Austria, Cyprus, Greece, workshop on eTwinning, lunch at school and meeting the mayor of Faro! In the afternoon some of the teachers and the students had the amazing experience to go on a fabulous city tour on a touristic train!!
On the third day of the meeting we continued with the presentations from Italy, Portugal and Spain and an activity of questions and answers to get to know each other better.
On the 4th day, the 25th of April was a public holiday, the Freedom day when Portugal got its freedom from the dictatorships. We visited by bus some of the most interesting and touristic places of the Algarve ( Vilamoura, Albufeira, Partimao, Lagos, Sagres). Awesome day!!!
On the 5th day we had a guided tour of the ruins of Milreu (Estoi) and a tour of the cork factory!!
For lunch we enjoyed an amazing meal prepared and served by the students of the school! We evaluated the week and met in the afternoon at a restaurant for a farewell dinner party with traditional dances from a folkloric group and ballroom dancing by Rúben and his partner!! An awesome day with an amazing finish!!!
