Stage 3 : Kind contributions

  •

As cultural heritage concerns everybody  we considered our project an opportunity to present our work to students in other classes and schools too and involve them in some of our activities. What a better way to open our project to the school community and  what a better topic too!!!!

    In particular:

    • classes A1A3 from the 12th Secondary School of Acharnes drew the flags and helped in the design of the activities.
    • B2 from 10th Secondary school worked on the monuments -museums activity . Special thanks to this group too.
    • G3  helped with the questions in Trivia Stage 2. Special thanks to all the students who worked on the questions.
    • A student from another class designed one of our Game Boards. Special thanks to Nick K.

These groups played also our games and learned about Cultural Heritage through our collaborative eTwinning project.

     In SPAIN...

the whole school has contributed in one or other way to this project :

    • some younger students have made matching cards, searching information about several countries and turning it into beautiful matching cards including flags, landmarks, gastronomy... most are very low level so they felt really proud to see their work was being used for the whole school competition!
    • very young students helped cutting monuments and descriptions for the matching cards
    • others helped to finish decorating the box to keep the Trivia ( it will be at the library so that everybody can use it and play)
    • some older students have worked on monuments and museums, preparing some presentations that were later turned into online games or matching cards too
    • others worked on riddles about different countries
    • others prepared questions about the leaflets European leaflets we have displayed at the school main hall.
    • 1 bach students also prepared a nice oral presentation of several European countries, like this one you can see here, where Lucía talks about the UK. Click HERE
    • all of these  have been or will be used in our European Competition.
    • thank you to most students and teachers, our project has reached the whole school. Cultural Heritage is something to share and enjoy, and so we have done!
