​Very often we see the picture of a monument - natural or manmade-  and we immediately recognise the country where we can find it. If we asked the people in that country, they would very probably say they feel proud to have it there : We feel proud of our cultural heritage and love to share it with the rest of the world.

​In other occasions we visit a town because we want to see this or that museum. We usually feel museums will make our visit much richer. However, it might happen that the inhabitants of that town, having the chance to visit the museum at any moment... wait and wait and never visit it themselves!!

​This activity will help us  have a look at those very interesting monuments and museums that are part of our European cultural heritage. It might also help us  discover others not-so-well known but also interesting and ... it might encourage us to start planning our next trip!!

ACTIVITY INSTRUCTIONS:

• ​national teams
• ​Each team will be given a couple of European countries so that you can search the web and choose some monuments and museums you would recommend visiting. you will need pictures + description so that a matching game can be prepared later. But first of all, we will start by having a close view at the country your team has been given: 
• a google drive presentation will help you share your monuments and museums
• have a look at the subpages and find yours
• ​if you have a look at "Romania", you will see an example

• ​Your Own Country/ Region:
  • ​​each national team will work on a region and do the same as before
  • ​Have a look at the subpages and find your country. 
  • use a slide per monument or museum
• ​your town:
  • ​​each team will suggest what to do in their own town and ... what museum they miss and would like to have.

​Once you have it all ready...  your teacher will tell you what to do.
