It sounds like a...castle!!! i.s.l.a.c
Project short describtion
The castle is the point of interest of the project, as all participating schools have a castle in their region. The word "castle" is also used metaphorically in order to express our need for a shelter when we have to face a difficult situation. So, music could be our "shelter- castle". History, fairy tales, legends, music, sounds, paintings, games, I.C.T and foreign language are the means of dealing with the topic through cooperative activities and communication.
Aims
Through cooperative activities pupils are going to:
- Develop: a) cognitive development abilities such as: critical thought, creativity, analytical thought, composition, organization e.t.c and
b) communicative and social abilities such as: collaboration, interactivity, self- activity and responsibility.

Project Procedure
During the five months of the project implementation, there will be continuous communication with tutors and students through chat in twinspace, mail and skype. The first month, via a collaborative web tool, the project calendar will be created, in which we will set the deadlines and the time limits of all activities. There were also be a presentation of the town, the school and the castle of the region, through photographs, sharing myths and folk songs. Then, the project logo will be designed by groups of students and there will also be a voting by a corresponding web tool. All natural sounds of the castle will be recorded by audio recording devices.
