  • ELECTROM

The first company that we have visited was a small local company Electrom, which assembles electrical bikes. It employs two people who run the workshop, sell the bikes and promote the company. We have learnt that you need different skills if you want to run your own business. First, you must have a good idea, you need to do research of the market, and you have to be creative and hardworking. If your idea is good then you can be very successful.

We saw what products the company offers. You can buy different kinds of electric bikes and hover boards.

Then we went to the workshop and saw how “normal” bikes are turned into electric bikes. We tried to ride them and we must say that they are great! If you don't believe us- watch the movie!

    VISITING IMPOL

On Friday 3th of February, the students of 9th and 8th form visited Impol, which is one of the largest companies in our surroundings.
Impol is a company that processes aluminium in an aluminium foil, which can be thinner than hair and very fragile. If you touch it, you can ruin the entire product!
Before we went on the tour through the company, we had a lecture where the company was introduced, and they warned us about hazards. We learned that they produce various products like aluminium bars and tubes, but the most popular are aluminium strips and foils.
During the tour, we found out that they are working with large machines and have several departments where they do different things, like melting, stretching, rolling, trimming...
I recommend that you come here and see for yourself what they can do with these huge machines. But ... do not forget the helmet and the nose clamps, because the smell is very strong in there.
