  • ERASMUS+ PROJECT WEEK

There's a lot that we have to learn. One of those things is how to start up a company.

So in Gustava Šiliha Laporje school we decided that the best is to try it.. We had a project week Štartaj Šilih (Šilih start up) that lasted 4 days, from Monday October 2th to Thursday October 5th 2017.

On Monday at 8am. Students from all classes had a lectures how to develop their ideas, how to convince the people to buy the product and how to deal with money. After that each class had to meet in their classroom where they talked about what they know about business.

On Tuesday they separate to four groups. The first one was marketing, the second was sales, third were financial group and the last one was the production. The marketing had to made up the name and slogan for company. The sales had to find the right material and they co-operative with financial group who had checked if they could afford them. The production had to make marketing ideas true.

On Wednesday the ideas that were developed had to become true. The production and marketing department had to work really hard to make everything perfect. On the end of the day the groups had to inform what they had done.

The final day, Thursday the classes were making everything to look the stand perfect. At the 10am the classes from 4th-9th met in meeting room to present the company and a product. The 4. class had a delicious but healthy sweets while the 5. class made a company that owns a relaxing parks and the 6. class had a spicy spreads. The 7. class had a homemade creams called ‘Antistresko’ that made you feel relaxed. The 8. class made a computer that wasn’t endangering the nature. The 9. class made a company called “Camcolors” and they print on the clothing. After that we needed to vote for our favorite one on the stand.

Then we had to return to meeting room to decide who the winner is. Choosing the best was really hard because the 8. class and 9. class had the same number of votes. But the decision was left to the judges and the 9. class won, because of their good presentation on the stand.
