Our trip to explore amphibians near our school :)

This is the brook that we chose as our main research site. It is in the vicinity of Vindija cave, where Neanderthals used to live (more about it at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vindija_Cave ). The nature there is beautiful, there are different kinds of animals and plants, but there is also a road going next to the brook. It is not a very busy road, but you can find some dead little creatures lying there. So far we have found two species of frogs and a salamander. There are a lot of tadpoles. We hope to see some more. :)
