Exploring diversity around Europe

  • Diversity of cultures is really rich in Europe and around the world. If we want students to discover other cultures, to work on different visions of events to become aware of the positive aspects of diversity and the bias induced by cultural unconscious reflexes, here are some activities you may try.

"Positive" propaganda: Quatre petits coins de rien du tout

It is very important to make (very) young children conscient about the fact that we all have the same rights, that we are all equal, that we have the right to be our self. In primary school, children often read the story “Quatre petits coins de rien du tout” to make them familiar with the subject. Our students have to do the same and then visualize the story afterwards. Possible extra: teach the children colors and forms in English.
