Project activities plan

  •      The "Small Scinetists Across Europe" Erasmus+ project will develop during a 2 year period, starting on 1st September 2017 and ending on 31st August 2019.

         During this period all the partners will participate in the project’s activities such as:

    - present our project to the school and local community, prepare a project corner in each kindergarten and continually add materials to it.

     - disseminate the beginning of the project in the media locally, regionally, nationally and internationally

    - organize web 2.0 tools seminar for all partners to ensure adequate skill levels in the beginning of the project. The coordinator will be in charge of the allocation of tasks and responsibilities

    - exchange information about educational systems, create a Facebook group / page for project and upload photos of activities in Facebook group / page, etc.

    - launch a project website 

    - organise online meeting with partners to establish the experiments

    - take photos or film the experiments

    - complete instructions how to conduct the experiment and upload them on Twinspace

    - use the web tool chosen to create the 4 chapters of the book Small scientist and the 4 pieces of the puzzle

    - organise in institutions activities for special days: (September 16 - International Day of the Ozone Layer, September 18 - World Geologists Day, November 7 - Birthday of Marie Curie, March 21 - World Tree / Forest Day, March 22 - World Water Day, March 23 - World Meteorology Day, April 22 - Earth Day, May 9 - Europe Day, June 5 - World Environment Day, June 8 - World Ocean Day, June 21 - World Day of the Sun)

    - complete the evaluation sheet for each year of the project

    - prepare all documents necessary for the end of the project

    - deliver the final report

         

         The activities that we will be doing with the children include:

    -  creating a common logo, a project poster, searching countries of partners on maps and draw a map of the project, searching characteristics from participating countries

    - make visits in parks or botanical gardens and make drawings/paintings of the environment

    - familiarizing with computers, help prepare promotional materials, view materials submitted by the partners, help create games and apply them, take photos of different objects arranged to form the word HELLO, learn about nature during all seasons

    - gather different materials from nature and preserve them or recycled materials

    - exchange Christmas cards by post with partners (with materials from nature/recycled)

    - make videos with carols

    - have video meetings to send Christmas wishes to partners

    - talk about science and the project’s themes (earth, air, water, fire) and search relevant information

    - visit museums, planetariums, aquariums, parks, botanical gardens and other places relevant to our theme

    - have visits from experts or specialists of this theme

    - make experiments about earth, air, water, fire

    - invent stories about our earth, air, water, fire and illustrate them

    - make a story book cover for the illustrated stories and bind it

    - make drawings about the experiments

    - have cooking activities with parents

    - apply the evaluations sheet for preschool children after each theme

    - play with the printed puzzle created during the 2 years

    - read the books created during the 2 years

    - participate/ organise festivities for the local communities with themes related to earth, science or ecology
