The 17th of September I left the Italy to go to the Netherlands for the Erasmus project.
At the beginning, I was really scared, but at the same time excited because that was my first time abroad for that long time, for three months. I missed my family, my friends and also the Italian food, important thing for me.
So the first week was really difficult for me because I was not used to speaking English every time, also I was in a new school in which I didn’t know anybody and in which there was a completely different method of study.
But when the first month was finished everything was perfect, I had new friends and I was able to study my subjects.
In October I had the opportunity to meet and live in the same house with a german girl called Anna that was in the Netherlands for the exchange of a week. She was really nice and we became immediate friends.
Another important opportunity that I had was visiting a lot of beautiful cities such as Amsterdam, Almere, Apeldoorn, Einkuizen and Harderwijk, and also going on a trip to Munster, in Germany to see the typical Christmas Markets.
Then, to finish, I want to say big thanks to my school that offers this kind of study trips. This was the best experience of my life because I met new people, I learnt a new lifestyle and I grew up from the humanistic point of view.
