VISIT TO AN OLD THERMAL POWER PLANT AND WORKING WITH ELECTRICITY

 

Today the students from IESO Quercus have been in an old thermal power plant to see how electricity was generated through burning coal, this system is still in use but we are searching for new ways of generating electricity. 

We've been working on generating electricity using different sources and methods: From light, from chemical reactions, from properties of materials...
