Learning about Belgrade

  • Slovenian students had to write short presentations on Belgrade.

This is a very good idea- I gave my students the same task, but in a different direction- to write and learn about Dobrovo, Slovenia and I expect results next week. I hope we will learn more abot each other and have pleasent time, while we are learning!

Our teachers gave us a new task. We had to find information on Belgrade's sights. Some of my friends had to describe the parts of the city, others had to describe monuments, and some had to describe famous people and rivers. We searched on many different websites. We discovered a lot of new information. Our group member Peter had an interesting lesson about the cyrillic alphabet.

Here is what we had to do:

    • Presentation of Serbia and comparison with Slovenia - Peter
    • Belgrade in time - Žiga F.
    • The Donava, The Sava and the confluence - Alen
    • Slovenians in Belgrade - Neja
    • Central Belgrade (Knez Mihajlova, Trg republike ...) - Tina
    • Kalemegdan - Enia
    • Skadarlija - Taja
    • St. Sava - Žiga K.
    • Dedinje - Matej
    • Avala - Maks
    • Ada Ciganlija - Vasja
