World Water Day activities in Rainbow Club, Kežmarok, Slovakia.

We did two experiments and a challenge video. Here they are:

First experiment was about the interesting properties of water. It is called "Walking water".

There are three glasses connected to each other by a paper kitchen cloth, that is rolled to create a "bridge" between the two neighbour glasses. The glasses on the left and right are filled with coloured water, the middle one is empty. Every 30 minutes we observed the status of the coloured water and we could see that it was really moving. We draw the status in a worksheet. 

Our second experiment was about comparing the amount of water we use by brushing our teeth for 3 minutes with a tap ON and OFF. We poured the water to the cups and buckets to find out that the result is:

3 cups with the tap OFF  and 2x9 litres buckets with the tap ON.

And at last but not least we accepted the challenge from our partner from Turkey, Burhaniye, Balikesir and created a short video where the water is our biggest Movie Star. Here it is:
