The project plan

  • Our plans for the first year,  the minutes of the first meeting in Boxmeer The Netherlands September 2016..

    September 2016:

    • Aims, ideas and activities of the project presented to the teachers.
    • Creating a „project teams”  in the partnerschools.
    • Presentation of the main ideas of the project to their students as well as parents.
    • Announcement of the avtivities:
    1. LOGO of the project by the end of October 2016. Two best ideas chosen in every school should be send to Italian school, which is responsible for the voting and for the choice of the logo. A project logo should be chosen 15th November. We have 10 logos and the students board vote.

    2. ECO-CLASS – collection of wastepaper and points for eco-friendly activities.  In June every school announces the amount of the collected wastepaper by all classes  and  send it to Polish coordinator. Polish coordinator will create a ranking of schools and will show the results on eTwinning and Facebook.

    3. ECO-STUDENT – the one who will collect the most of wastepaper.
      If waste paper is collected by individual students 3 best students in each school will be awarded. The results of the 3 best students will be send to the Polish coordinator. Polish coordinator will create a ranking of schools and will show the results on eTwinning and Facebook.

    4. SCHOOL ECO-NOTEBOOK – appointed school worker or pupils note down the amounts of water, energy, gas used in the school(on the basis of the bills) Results are put together and compared every year.

    5. STUDENT ECO-NOTEBOOK -every student once in a month notes down the amounts of water, energy, gas, heating, garbage disposal, petrol used at home etc. (on the basis of the bills)  inside of the notebook.

    6. CLASS ECO-NOTEBOOK – every tutor collects documents confirming that a student has collected a given amount of wastepaper. ECO-NOTEBOOK is divided into three parts, as each year other recyclable materials will be collected. First year: paper, second: plastic caps, third: used batteries. Every class notes down eco-friendly activities conducted by the class – 1 point for every eco-action. At the end of the year one winning class in each school is awarded.

    7. Other activities:

    • Creating a bookmark ERASMUS+ on school websites(every school) Creating a Facebook profile ERASMUS+(Polish school)
    • e-TWINNIG profile (Dutch school)
    • Training for students: Healthy products, the meaning of the labels. Healthy products. „I know what I eat – consumer’s ABC” From the 1stto the 10th month, then from the 13thto the 22nd month and from the 25thto the 32nd month. The whole project duration. Training during tutor hour.
    • ECOPAEDIA (hard product of the project) – teacher’s guide containing original lesson plans for older and younger pupils(34 month) These original and innovative lesson plans will apply to 4 subject areas which are to be realized in our project (resources, water, energy, health). They will be used during tutor lessons(weekly class meetings) and other educational activities in all partner schools and they will be accessible for all interested schools on E-TWINNING
    • If you have school educational programs at the beginning of each school year you should implement the information about Erasmus+ and obligate tutors to conduct at least 3 lessons throughout the school year dedicated to ecology with a focus on raw materials.
    • During a visit in the Polish school, all teachers will participate in lessons concerning ecology conducted by Polish teachers in the younger grades (students up to 9 years old) and senior classes (students up to 13). These lesson plans written in English will become a part of ECOPAEDIA.
    • As it comes to the visit in Poland: The teachers of each school  prepare a lesson or lessons on ecology, which they will teach in international groups (in English)in Polish school. Our teachers will be present during the lesson and they will help. The lesson planes used will also be placed in ECOPAEDIA. This procedure will apply during every visit to the partner school. Every school must create 2 lessons plans during each school year(in English, the time must be specified, the division on younger and older pupils).

    1. November 15th - Polish coordinator creates a newsletter and places it on eTWINNING.

    2. Announcing the competition for Ecological GAMES (boardgames, table, interactive) concerning RESOURCES – results at the end of March 2017.

    3. Placing a banner advertising our project at the school building. The design of the banner will be sent later, we are creating it now.

    • The students create ppt presentations concering resources – in every school – you can announce a competition. The best presentation is sent to Poland and it is shown to other partners, the description of the presentation must be in English. Please, bring digital version of these presentations. Schools will exchange these materials. The same with the games, if they are digital, we will also exchange that. If the winning games are not digital we must create a copy for every partner and give it to partner schools (we can use money from Project Management).

    May 2017:

    • Every school organises ECOWEEK(activities with strong focus on ecology), eco-picnic, inviting the local media in order to disseminate eco-activities conducted by the school. Ecoweek can be also organised in April à it’s up to you. It must be organised every year in every school, exept for the time when you are hosting the partners (ex. Slovenia in October 2017, Italy – May? 2017), the other 3 schools must organise it in their school

    June 2017:

    THE VISIT IN POLAND: MAY/JUNE

    • 28.05.2017 r. – 03.06.2017r. (from Sunday to Saturday) 7 days according to the project.
      6 months before any visit a host school informs all partners about the date, which can’t be changed after the purchase of the tickets(they will be cheaper) Warsaw Okęcie – Chopin Airport or Warsaw MODLIN.

    • Participants: max 4 teachers and 5 pupils.

    • 1,5 month before the visit in Poland you will get the schedule for the visit. We must write the report after the first year of the project, during the visit in Poland. We will plan a meeting of coordinators and directors in the afternoon in order to write a final report after the first year of the project.

    • EUROPASS training for chosen teachers from Polish school and the teachers of the partner schools (external educator). This training will take place during the visit in Poland.. After this training the teachers will train pupils in their schools.

    • Every school sends a report concerning project activities and the financial report (expenses in the project) to their National Agency(by 30th June) – it is regulated by our financial agreement. After every year of the project we must send the reports. Apart from that, our NA may demand an intermediate report. If there are any training organised by your NA, it’s worth taking part in them. We strongly recommend it. They give detailed information, explain doubts and answer to your questions. We are waiting for the ideas à how to evaluate the project after the first year??? We are waiting for your ideas.
