The students will make investigation to find out protected animal and plants in their region, then they will visit them in October-November and  make drawings of them

In every country there are particular protected animals- they can be met only in this particular coutry, or they are very few and have to protect them , or they are  valuable for the nature  and we have to protect them. The students has to investigate  where in your countries there are protected animals that live in reserves or  leve free in the nature but we know that they are of extinction and we have to protect them. If it is possible you can visit the nearest reserves.Then every school have to prepare Kizoa for the protected animals in  its country. You can use  also illustrations of your students   :)Natasha

The Greek shepherd is one of the two original Greek dog breeds that have survived from antiquity .Brave,faithful and strong

Our students in Grade 3 worked hard in the research about the protected animals in our countries. They created a power point presentation in pairs where they worte the name of the animal, some images and the most relevant information about why this animal is endangered and also protected. We also planted some endemic trees which are becoming rare: the pine trees (prinjol in Maltese). When the seeds grew into little saplings we took them to PARKS - an organisation that works on the reforestation of our islands. The man in charge told us that when these little saplings grow a little more they will be planted at Buskett which is our small forest.
