  • Your suggestions to develop our project in coding activities

Fatma Bouaziz (Collège Privé La Coupole Tunisia)

I have an idea for a collaborative activity is to ask students for their future jobs (what do they want to be when they finish their studies) then we can ask them to code (you can choose the coding tool: for example they can work with Scratch, Microbit, Minecraft or CoSpaces Edu, or others)
    What do you think?

    Vasso Servou
It is a great idea! But unfortunately I joined the project late so I gave us time to do it till midle of December because we have to proceed with the material we have to cover as well. So, we will do this activity when we have a bit of free time.
    Kawthar Hakim Ayadi
    Excellent idea dear Fatma!!!!

    Fatma Bouaziz

In our first meeting (03 November 2021) and after our discussion on the different collaborative activities, we decided to leave the students free on how they will present themselves and with the coding tool they choose.

    Semra Ayata

Let's talk about a topic related to STEM.
    Great Idea
Can you suggest some activities related to STEM to discuss it (Fatma)

Students can create concrete products for the problems of cities with STEM. Our problem is thermal power plants that produce electricity. We can make a wind turbine that produces electricity, this is an example.
    Great ideas dear Semra
we can do it with our students (Fatma)

Vasso Servou, Kareas Junior High School, Athens, Greece

Is my community and city sustainable, inclusive and resilient for people with learning difficulties and disabilities?

    Explain your ideas about:
    a) the right of persons with disabilities and / or special learning needs to have equal access to education
    b) the fight against stereotypes and prejudices
    c) the importance of student heterogeneity
Support your ideas with a picture, a text, a poem, a logo, a cartoon, or a giphy that you find on the internet or something you make yourself and post it on the following wakelet:

    https://wakelet.com/i/invite?code=vnew7osx

    vnew7osx

using the following site, students can create poems
    https://sites.research.google/versebyverse/

Danguole Vaitmoniene- Vytautas Magnus University "Rasa" gymnasium - Kaunas - Lithuania

We invite students to customize micro: bit or other programmable electronics, microcontrollers, and IT and decorate their classroom for the upcoming holidays.
Great Danguolé; we will use Microbit for our Smart Home (Fatma)

Gülsüm Şanlı/Muğla Şehit Altuğ Pek Anatolian High School/Turkey

Our problem is that there is a fire in the forests of our city. Fire (heat) sensors can be coded and placed in the forest. The same sensors can be used for smart homes and cities.
    Yes great ideas Gülsüm (Fatma)

Danguole Vaitmoniene (Vytautas Magnus "Rasos" gymnasium)

    Using micro:bit sensors
In a smart home, the light can be turned on by measuring the level of illumination and heating by measuring the temperature.
