My name is Danijela Paradi. I am 42 years old. I have been working for 14 years at the Elementary School Bedekovčina as a biology and chemistry teacher. I have always wanted to teach, which is why I am constantly improving in the field of science and methodology in order to make my work with children better, more interesting and suitable for the growing demands of today's generations.
In addition to teaching, I am involved in many activities at school: I am the leader of the international GLOBE program and the Student Cooperative Bedex. Also, I am the leader of the Young Chemists group, and for several years I was the leader of the international Eco School program at our school.
I participate in the planning and implementation of multi-year projects for gifted and motivated students – “We strive for excellence” and “The Alphabet of Science”. With these projects, we strive to take an interdisciplinary approach to solving problem tasks, and to present scientific facts to students in an interesting and attractive way through various forms of practical work and extracurricular teaching.
I participate in Erasmus + KA1 projects ‘’Excellence Through Diversity’’, “The alphabet of Science” and KA2 project “Be the solution-recycle!”. I also participate in international project "Sexual Violence - Educational and Preventive Program 2 - Junior (SNEP 2 - Junior)".
Based on achievements in educational and professional work, in December 2020., I was promoted in the title to teacher-mentor.
I am always ready for communication and teamwork, and the acquisition of new knowledge and skills that I will apply in further work with my students.
