Security

  • E-SAFETY RULES

eSafety relates to what considerations should be taken into account when working on the internet.

eTwinning offers a safe platform for staff (teachers, head teachers, librarians, etc.), working in a school in one of the European countries involved, to communicate, collaborate, develop projects, share and, in short, feel and be part of the most exciting learning community in Europe. Teachers who register in eTwinning are checked by the National Support Service (NSS) and are validated in order to use all the eTwinning features.

However, there are issues relating to working on the internet in a safe and secure way, that everybody, teachers and students alike should be aware of and be equipped for to the benefit of all, from online buying to the publication of images. Every citizen in today’s world is also a citizen of the digital world and needs to understand what the rights and responsibilities of being a digital citizen are.

A good starting point to learn the latest trends and issues can be found here.
