Today classes 3M and  4M met an actor, Vincenzo De Michele, who acted in a fiction called “Lampedusa” broadcast on Rai 1 on 21 September 2016. The actor first introduced himself and then he started talking about his movie. He said that it was an amazing experience that everyone should make to understand what happens when a boat full of refugees arrive (and he saw this the first day of work) and how lucky we are to live this life. After saying that, a girl asked a question “how did he feel after he had finished acting every scene in which he helped those people?” at this question he answered he felt strange and at the same time lucky. Most of the time an actor prepares himspelf before acting, but in this fiction he didn’t  because all he needed was to stay Human. In this movie all the actors truly experienced what to be a refugee means, so it wasn’t easy for them to repeat what they have lived. The actor said also that with his colleagues he has  established a real and a beautiful friendship in fact he is in touch with all the actors he worked with. At some point the conversation became really deep and touching. Vincenzo taught us the real values of life, what’s wrong and what’s right:  PROTAGONISM BRINGS YOU TO LONELINESS. We only care about ourselves (plans, goals) and we forget others. The most important thing according the actor is to serve others instead of living only to received and not to give. That’s the problem according to him. We have to deepen our humanity by helping others. The human value leads you to good things. After saying that he told us about his first scene. The scene was with seven officials and he thought of meeting tired people that hated their work but what he believed in was completely wrong because those people were happy. They face life with happiness because they saw the real suffering by helping those refugee. Sometimes or maybe always we complain about life’s problems, that to us they seem really big but to the officials are nothing because they had seen the worst. The actor felt really small compared to them. At the end of the meeting the actor asked us and I think also to himself why he has been this life and why those refugee that torture? He seemed really angry about that.
