Paper Tulips' workshop

  • Materials and instruction:

To make the paper tulips, you need a special kind of paper, like with the roses, called crepe paper, different colours for the heads and green for the leaves and stalk. You also need: scissors, glue and two kinds of wire: - thin - fleksible to form and fasten/tie the heads, form petals as well as to form and tie the leaves to the stalk - pieces of about 20 cm,  - and thicker wire, not so fleksible, pieces of about 40 cm for the stalks. You can buy the wire in your local flower shop. Follow the video to make the petals and then form a head of the tulip of about 9 - 10 petals. Form the head on the thicker wire which has to be inside the head and plays the role of the stamen. Tie the stalk firmly with the head at the bottom of it with the thinner wire. Then you can make the leaves following the video instruction adjust them to the stalk. When it's done, use a strip of the green crepe paper to wrap the whole stalk, use some glue to finish the wrapping.
