I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Adama Mickiewicza is located in the west of Poland, in Sulęcin, 50 kilometres from the border with Germany.

The school has 223 students aged 15-19. As we are a general education school, our students specialize in general subjects. All our students choose 2 subjects to prepare for their A-levels, such as Literature, Math, Biology, Chemistry, History and Geography. They also learn 2 foreign languages, chosen from English, German and Russian. Apart from Erasmus + our students also take part in cross-border projects with Rouanet Gymnasium Beeskow, Germany as well as eTwinning projects.

Sulęcin is a town located in the Lubuskie province, which is primarily known for its lakes and woods, attracting many tourists from Poland and Germany. It is also - surprise, surprise! - one of the few wine-making regions in Poland. Its attractions include Park Mużakowski (UNESCO Heritage List) located on the Nysa River in both Poland and Germany, the Festungsfront Oder Warthe Bogen - a system of underground fortifications built in 1930s, and - for the nature lovers - the Ujście Warty National Park, which is home to hundreds of bird species.
