The school Liceo classico Convitto Cutelli Catania is a Lyceum (Grammar school), there are more than 800 students and 116 teachers, some of them are english and french . The most important subjects are English, Latin, Italian, old Greek, Maths, Byology, art and Phisical Education. Students study literature and languages. The students are upper/middle class. We have a canteen, 1 language lab, 1 chemistry lab, 1 informatic lab. All the classes have the interactive whiteboard. All the teachers try to apply new methodology in teaching the different subjects. Even if most of our students are italian , there are foreign students and some of them are from different religius faith. All the students are perfectly integrated and they respect different people from different cultures. In our lessons we propose the analysis of various films in original language that represent different culture. Student sometimes attend the theatre where they can compare cultures from far countries. They discuss after the play or the movie.
