An important issue of the political party is the immigration.
As a matter of fact Northern League proposed to restore border’s control and to stem the flow of immigrants by human’s rejections.
The slogan is “AIUTIAMOLI A CASA LORO” (let’s help them in their own homes).

-About our opinions the way of doing politics should be different.
First of all, the main ideal should be the respect of human’s decency and liberty.
Nowadays the ideal of cosmopolitanism and philanthropy could be carried out, because everyone has to be considered as a citizen of the world without distinction and discrimination.
In our opinion there should be a collaboration of several parties to fight racism, so in this way all the problems about poverty, immigration and struggles that are destroying our beautiful earth, may be resolved.
Political parties should help immigrants to find jobs, houses , therefore to improve their lifestyles.

    Casapound (ultra-right-wing party)

"Casapound" is an Italian neo-fascist movement and formerly a political party born as a network of far-right social centres arising from the occupation of a state-owned building by squatters in the neighborhood of Esquilino in Rome on 26th December
    2003.

CasaPound has a strong anti-immigration stance, but lack of homogeneity on other themes.

The main CasaPound political proposal is the so-called "Mutuo Sociale" (Social Mortgage), as a response to the problem of housing which, according to official data, involving approximately 23,000 households throughout Italy.

In October 2011, the Lazio Region officially approved it within its "House Plan".

    Fratelli d'Italia (centre-right)

"Fratelli d’Italia" is a national-conservative political party in Italy led by Giorgia Meloni, a member of the Chamber of Deputies and a former minister in Silvio Berlusconi's fourth cabinet.

The party, created from a split of The People of Freedom
(PdL) in December 2012, is the main heir of the Italian neo-fascist conservative movement that had the Italian Social Movement (MSI, 1946–1995) and National
Alliance (AN, 1995–2009) as its main political representatives.

    "Forza nuova":

It isan extremist party, neofascist, euro-skeptical and nationalist. Accused of racism and homophobia. It was founded in 1997 by Roberto Friore e Massimo Morsello. The party proposes the "Treaty of Lisbon", by which the national sovereignty on taxes would be attacked, wages would be cut down and the military independence of the country would disappear. They're against marriage and gay adoptions, one of their slogans, which caused a lot of controversy, was  "Basta froci" ( a homophobic term)

    Lega Nord (right-wing party)

Founded in 1989, Lega Nord is a right-wing party of the Italian parliament, whose ideology is mostly founded in populism, and which pushes for more independence of the Po Valley regions. Lega Nord has very conservative views, being against civil unions and homosexual marriage and adoption, against immigration and in favor of the deportation of illegal immigrants, and generally against social equality and egalitarianism.

CasaPound Italia (CPI) (extreme right-wing party)

CPI is originally born as a movement, in 2003, becoming an actual party only in 2008. CPI is founded on neo-fascist ideology, advocating for extreme nationalism, sovereignty, islamophobia, anti-communism, populism and skepticism against the EU. The party is openly racist and harshly opposes immigration, other than being against equality in general. The party no longer has a place in the political scene in Italy, as in 2019 the leader declared that CasaPound will keep being a movement and retire from parliament.

Here's our analysis of the proposals of the political parties in Italy.

Immigration in Italy has developed after 1970. As ISAT says, It's important to do not confuse immigrants with foreign populations who obviously have foreign citizenship. Here in Italy opinions could change between parties:
    • “The Right” claims “before the italians”, expression which demonstrate their intention of protecting the citizens before immigrants. The sovereigns (who are basically nazionalists) think that immigration could be too much expensive for our economy.
    • On the other side , “The Left” (especially PD) claims that it may be better to found a solution in order to help them also by introducing new immigration laws in the name of the equality.

Political parties in Italy are numerous. In the 2018 general election three groupings obtained most of the votes and most of the seats in the two houses of the Italian Parliament: a centre-right coalition, composed of the League, Forza Italia, the Brothers of Italy and minor allies; the anti-establishment Five Star Movement; a centre-left coalition, composed of the Democratic Party and minor allies.

    List of the major parties:
    • Five star movement (Movimento Cinque Stelle)
    • Northern League - League for Salvini Premier (Lega Nord – Lega per Salvini Premier)
    • Democratic Party (Partito Democratico)
    • Forward Italy (Forza Italia)
    • Brothers of Italy (Fratelli d'Italia)
    • Italy alive (Italia Viva)
    • Courage Italy - Let's change! (Coraggio Italia – Cambiamo!)

We decided to analyze in particular the ideologies of two parties, "Forza Nuova" and "Fratelli D'Italia":
    • New Force (Italian: Forza Nuova, FN) is a far-right political party. It was founded by Roberto Fiore and Massimo Morsello. The party has often been strongly criticized for its radical positions and for acts of violence involving some militants. It was also the protagonist of political campaigns opposed to same-sex marriage and immigration to Italy. The political movement claims to aim for "national reconstruction" by achieving eleven objective, including the opposition to immigration and the humane repatriation of recent immigrants to Italy.
•Brothers of Italy (Italian: Fratelli d'Italia, FdI) is a national-conservative political party led by Giorgia Meloni, a member of the Chamber of Deputies and a former minister in Silvio Berlusconi's fourth cabinet. The party, created from a split of The People of Freedom (PdL) in December 2012, is the main heir of the Italian neo-fascist conservative movement that had the Italian Social Movement (MSI, 1946–1995) and National Alliance (AN, 1995–2009) as its main political representatives. The FdI traces its roots in the history and values of the far-right Italian Social Movement and its successor National Alliance. The party's main ideological trends are nationalism and conservatism, and its ideology includes also a Eurosceptic sentiment.
