Am I a Racist? Human Race first.

  • German, Spanish, Italian, Croatian and Turkish High Schools will work on the topic “Human Being and Humanity” and will face problems arising populism and other different proposals in political programs against immigrants, abroad, foreign people, ethnic minority, men and women from other cultures or religions.

Speaking about curricular program, it is referred to philosophical ethic and politic proposals. This project is an attempt to analyse migration policies in our countries, to compare them, to critically revise them, to judge with a youth eye and to propose effective changes.

Our final goal is that our students create a small utopia in our High Schools and they are ally ambassadors against racism. They are very sensitized about this issue and we think that joining with pupils from other countries can be a great impulse for them.

What is it that makes us human? Is it that we love, that we fight? That we laugh? Cry? Our curiosity? The quest for discovery?...

Driven by these questions, filmmaker and artist Yann Arthus-Bertrand spent three years collecting real-life stories from 2,000 women and men in 60 countries. Working with a dedicated team of translators, journalists and cameramen, Yann captures deeply personal and emotional accounts of topics that unite us all; struggles with poverty, war, homophobia, and the future of our planet mixed with moments of love and happiness.
