PROTEST AND AWARENESS-RAISING SONGS

  • Do you like listening to music and singing?

    Songs are an extremely effective way to raise awareness about burning issues such as environment protection and climate change.

    That's why a lot of artists have written songs about similar topics to reach a wide audience and give their contribution to  make change happen.

    Have you ever heard 'Earth Song' by Michael Jackson?

    It is a famous song that he realeased in 1995. He was already talking about the problems we are dealing with today! Give it a listen!

     

    Listen to the song. Which issues is he singing about? Make a list.

    YOUR TASK

    Look for songs about climate change and environmental issues (deforestation, pollution, etc.) and share your opinions, feelings and emotions about them

    Steps to follow:

    👉1. Discuss which song you would like to work on with your group in the Forum (see chart below) Deadline: 13th April

    👉2. Create a couple of slides (2 for each member) to say your mind about the song. Follow the instruction in the Collaborative presentation file below Deadline: 21st April
