International Children's Day of Broadcasting (ICDB) was created by UNICEF in 1991. This day is celebrated on the first Sunday in March.

ICDB had been celebrated on the first Sunday in May to 2008, but the date was changed in 2009. This holiday aims to promote broadcasters around the world to pay more attention to kids program. They should air quality programming about and for children and, the most important, allow children to be a part of programming process.
