GREECE
A STORY-TELLING IN GREECE: Erotocritos and Aretousa
Once upon a time princess Aretousa was living in the city of Athens. Her father’s name was Heracles and her mother’s Artemis. Aretousa was very beautiful and smart. She had a very happy life with her parents.
Erotocritos was living to the palace too. He was a brave and beautiful young man. When Erotocritos saw Aretousa he felt in love. Every night he visited her balcony, sang love songs playing his lyre. After a while Aretousa felt in love with him too.
Heracles didn’t approve this love because Erotocritos wasn’t a prince. For that; Erotocritos was banished from the kingdom and Aretousa’ s father put her in prison.
Three years later an enemy attacked Athens. When Erotocritos heard that his country was in danger he came back and fight with fearlessness. With his help the enemy was defeated. Heracles recognized that Erotocritos offered to victory so he decided to give him not only his daughter but the throne too.

He did it and the next morning his oldest son found many great things and he wents to the castle and he found a girl that was gonna die . He saved she and they got married
LITHUANIA
Name: EGLĖ THE QUEEN OF SERPENTS
Author: Lithuanian folk tale
Main theme and summary: A young girl named Eglė discovers a serpent in her clothes after bathing. Speaking in a human voice, the serpent agrees to go away only after Eglė pledges herself to him. Three days pass and thousands of serpents come for the bride and take Eglė with them to the bottom of the sea to bridegroom Žilvinas, a handsome human. They live together happily and bear four children, until Eglė decides to visit home. After meeting her family members, Eglė's relatives do not wish to let them back to the sea and decide to kill Žilvinas. His sons are threatened by their uncles, in order to disclose how to summon their father. However, they do not betray him. Finally, a frightened daughter discloses it. The worried Eglė calls her husband, but unfortunately only foams of blood return from the sea. When Eglė discovers that her beloved is dead, she turns her children and herself into trees.
SLOVAKIA
Name: About three coins
Author: Pavol Dobšinský
Main theme: It is about a poor man who was digging ditches by the road. He was visited by a king, who asked him how much he earns per a day. The por man said that he ernas three coins per a day. The first coin he has to give back to his father, the second borows to his son and the third one is for his life. When the king to asked him how it is possible he answered him. The king told this story to his consultants. They go back to the poor man and asked him for the answer. When they come back, the king reduced their salary and the poor man became the king´s advisor.
