TSL 2017 INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS DEBATES, AWARDS & VISITS

Zespół Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych w Sierakowicach represented the project during TSL International School Debates. Student representatives from around the world - England, Romania, Macedonia, UAE, India, Kenia, Izrael, Lebanon, Turkey, Filipins, Kazachstan, Colombia, Spain, Bulgaria, Seychelles, Pakistan...and Poland - debated about climate warming. Polish coordinator - Aleksandra Klaman - presented the project to international audience. 

 

 

Our project was represented during European Day of Languages 2016.

Zespół Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych w Sierakowicach celebrated European Day of Languages during breaks. Students were able to take part in language quizes, ridles and games. Students working on the project in Poland  wanted to check if their peers were good at recognizing different European languages, not only English and German which they study at school. We took some biological terms from our online dictionary and asked students to try and differentiate English, French, Lithuanian and Italian terms. The task is not that simple it appears, especially when it comes to scientific vocabulary.
