In May Polish students of the project group took part in pottery workshops, which took place in our school. The aim of the classes was to educate and popularize folk traditions and crafts. During the course, students learned about a brief outline of the formation of ceramics, the properties of clay, methods of firing ceramics and glazing the products. Working in the workshops, participants used free clay forming by the techniques of: indenting, embossing, forming rollers and balls, as well as, giving structures and patterns with rollers, scratchers, spatulas. Beautiful mirror frames were created from their work.
