TIME FOR A TOWER BLOCK PARTY!
When I'm writing this almost 100 people live in the Tower block, and although some floors are a bit quiet that's certainly enough to have a party! Discuss what you would like in a great Tower Block Party! We will be using a tool called Todaysmeet for this task.
3A: ORGANIZE YOUR PARTY
What would be cool things to have at a Tower Block Party?
Go to the chatroom, exchange ideas and talk about it with your mates! Try to come up with ideas, then make them as good as possible! You can work simultaneously or at different times, but it's important that you start discussing about the party organisation. You can create folders in the MATERIALS section in order to collect pictures, music, recipes and other things that you may need for your party.
Use your name and room number as a nickname, so we know who you are! I would be Thomas707, for instance.
3B: AND NOW IT'S PARTY TIME!
One month from now (around MARCH 8th), time for planning is over!
Now it's time to show the world what the party would be like! You can do this in any way you and your teacher decides, in groups or by yourself.
We have a GALLERY PAGE, please put your product or a link to it there! Remember, everyone is at the SAME PARTY (ONE PARTY FOR THE WHOLE TOWER BLOCK), so you can borrow ideas from the other groups as well. Make something cool! If you want to make something with your fellow students from other countries, that's awesome!
You can, for example:
-Use POWTOON.COM to show scenes from your party
-Make an AUDIO PLAY about the party and post it on SOUNDCLOUD.
-Make a small VIDEO about the party and post it on Youtube or Vimeo!
-Make a comic about the party using MAKEBELIEFS COMIX
-WRITING A STORY ABOUT IT is also a possibility of course
-Or find some other clever way of showing us the party, but remember to post on the TOWER BLOCK GALLERY
