Bonus Tasks
Do you want even more things to do in THE TOWER BLOCK? Here you go! These are creative tasks, but they don't need much student cooperation. Post what you make on the GALLERY PAGE.
BONUS TASK 1 - THE VISIT
Write a little story where you visit someone else’s room (on a different floor if you want). Post it to the Twinspace, share it with the person you’re visiting.
The story must include:
-a reason for your visit
-references to the person and his/her room
-something funny/scary/interesting that happens
BONUS TASK 2 - THE POEM
Outside the Tower Block
We don't know what you can see out of your windows in the Tower Block. It's different for everyone.
Write a poem about it, and put it on the GALLERY PAGE!
BONUS TASK 3 - THE PRESENT
Come up with an obect (a pillow, a bunch of roses, a leprechaun!), place it in somebody's room by going to that person's room and writing about it: "Elisa, when you enter room 1202 you hear: "WOOOF WOOF!". Someone has placed a puppy in your room!"
BONUS TASK 4 - THE LETTER
Write a letter to someone on your floor using TWINMAIL. Tell them about yourself. Maybe they will write back?
- Say that you are going to visit him/her
- Write about a present you'll bring him/her
- Comment how much you like his/her room
- Ask questions in order to know him/her better
- If the other student has posted the own view from his/her window, comment on it
- Invite him/her to visit your room and give a reason to do it (play videogames, have a cup of tea, chat in front of the fireplace ...)
