Svarog

  • Something about Svarog

     

    All Slavs were considered this god like he is "full of glory and deity" because he manage with sky which is above and outside everything but all includes. Svarog sleeps and in a dream he was created this world which he was intrusted to Perun and to the other gods for the storage and management. He can't immedietly affect on the physical and materially environment that he dreams, but he can affect the will of other gods, and there is his big influence. His awaking will mark the end of the world. 

    Folk adage: "In God woolen legs, and the iron hand", which, according to Čajkanović, speaks of a God who is not a Christian. He can not be moving, as indicated by the description leg, or his influence is still huge. His "hand" carried out by an iron will, most likely are actually other gods who are subordinate. 

    Even in the writings of Svarog is presented as the father of the sun and the heavenly fire. Some authors are inclined towards the second explanation name Svarog. They explain that this word can be broken down to "svar" and "Rog" when "Svar" means heavenly sky, and the second "rog" sun, which together represents heaven, bright, shining sun. Svarog reportedly appointed a law on monogamy and monogamy. In mythology it is said that Svarogovi once fell from the sky on the hands of pliers, and since then, people began to produce weapons country.
