What would the trees say if they could talk? They are alive like humans and carry a soul. They, just like us, eat, breathe and contribute something good to the environment. And what do we humans do? We cut down entire forests, tear leaves from trees and pollute nature. We forget that just because trees can’t talk, it doesn’t mean that they don’t have feelings. Imagine you are in a big forest full of trees. A group of people decided that they had to cut down the whole forest in order to have free space for construction. This means that they will destroy nature. If the trees could talk, they would say, “Please don’t hurt us, we carry a soul like you. Put yourself in our place, think of us. We are an important part of this world. We purify the air that you breathe, and you want to kill us. Don’t do it!” It’s important for us humans to imagine what trees would say if they could talk to us. We can’t solve the problems in our environment without their help. We are already planting new trees, every single one of them with a soul, but let’s be honest, we can’t keep up with all the damage that happened and still does. The trees would cry and tell us they’re exhausted, there is too much pressure on them. We need to listen to them. One of our problems is probably that we underestimate many things. Maybe you would think that it isn’t as bad if you cut down two or three trees. Although, every single tree counts. Every single tree would tell us that every one of them counts. One grown tree can produce the needed oxygen for up to 30 people. Nobody would say that 30 people don’t count and that it wouldn’t matter if you cut them down like nothing. It is also crucial that trees should keep the ground with their roots, thereby preventing landslides and de-sacking. So if we destroy the trees, we will endanger not only our lives, but also our planet's. If trees could talk, they would say that we have to help them fight deforestation. There are several solutions, such as planting trees regularly, creating protected forest areas, combating the overexploitation of natural biological resources, among many other solutions. We must ALWAYS listen to the trees, they are always right. Us humans usually don’t listen to other living beings, even when they are suffering in front of us. But we should begin to listen to them. Right now. Before we no longer can do that. Everyone can help. Even the smallest act counts. Recycle, plant trees, talk to other people about that. I think that’s what a tree, or many of them, would say if they can talk.
